Customer Guidelines

Thank you for entrusting Southern Breeze Cleaning, LLC with your home cleaning needs. To ensure the safety of our employees and to establish clear expectations with our clients, we have developed guidelines that will ensure a smooth cleaning experience with us.

Day Prior to Arrival of Cleaners:

This is purely optional but by following these suggestions, you will gain the most out of your cleaning session as it will allow us to spend most of our time cleaning, rather than re-organizing.

To ensure that we deliver the highest quality of service possible, we kindly request that you prepare for our arrival by putting away any items that could obstruct our cleaning technicians from cleaning specific areas, such as loose papers, toys, and other objects.

Day of Cleaning:

You are welcome to stay in your home during the cleaning session. Please try to avoid concurrent use of cleaning spaces. Please do not follow cleaners around while cleaning. In order to perform our job correctly, we need the space and order to professionally clean your home. If you do choose to leave your home to allow a more efficient cleaning, then we suggest scheduling a day that you have errands to run. It is best to try and allow the cleaners the space to clean without interferences such as children or pets.

Bedroom/Bathrooms:

1. If you would like your bed made, please remove dirty linen and place the new linen/sheets on the bed to be replaced with. 2. Remove all items/declutter bathroom counters. We will clean all counters and reorganize as close to the manner in which we encountered. 3. Remove any items from the desk/counter/floor that would be in the way of cleaning. (Especially in kids’ bedroom). 4. Remove all shampoos/bathroom items that you would normally store in a cabinet. 5. Also, kindly ensure that the vacuum is accessible and any sensitive materials are stored away. In order to prevent cross-contamination and avoid transferring pet dander into a home with allergies, Southern Breeze Cleaning, LLC prefers to use the client’s vacuum. If the client does not own a suitable vacuum, our cleaning techs can bring one if necessary.

Kitchen:

Please note that washing dishes is an additional service. We normally clean the sinks by loading the dishwasher with dirty dishes. Please ensure the dishwasher is empty and prepared for loading. If the dishwasher is not empty, dishes will remain in the sink unless additional dish washing services are requested.

Add On Services:

Please note the service checklist for details on what we provide during our deep cleaning and standard cleaning services. If you would like an add on service, please notify us at least 72 hours prior to your service date, so that we can ensure adequate time for your home service appointment.

Biohazard and Safety:

Southern Breeze Cleaning values the health and safety of our employees, and it is important that we are informed of any potential biohazard situations. These may include mold, rodent or bug infestations, or human or pet waste. If a biohazard situation is detected, our cleaning technicians will be unable to provide service. Follow-up service cannot be performed until the client confirms that the situation has been resolved.

Our top priority is the safety of our clients and cleaning technicians. To maintain safety standards, Southern Breeze Cleaning, LLC is insured and is unable to perform any cleaning from anything higher than a three-step ladder. Heavy or large furniture must be moved away from the walls to clean behind them, but our cleaning technicians cannot move furniture, appliances, or other heavy objects to prevent damage and ensure safety.

Pets should be placed in a secure area of the home or garage during cleaning for their safety and the safety of our cleaning technicians. Our cleaners cannot clean animal feces to avoid cross-contamination.

Damage:

In areas of the home with extreme clutter, Southern Breeze Cleaning, LLC reserves the right to skip those areas in order to avoid damaging items or injuring the cleaning technicians

Surfaces such as hardwood floors and natural stone should be in good condition and ready to clean without causing harm to the surfaces when using a neutral pH cleaner.

Southern Breeze Cleaning, LLC uses nontoxic, eco-friendly products that do not stain or warp any surfaces. If you would like us to use your products instead, please understand Southern Breeze Cleaning, LLC will not be held liable for any damage caused by your products. To prevent damage and for the safety of our cleaning technicians, bleach will not be used even if requested.

We want all of our clients to be absolutely delighted with the cleaning service! Report any concerns to our office at 404-436-1557 or to info@southernbreezecleaning.com within 24 hours after the service. We will return and re-clean the area(s) of concern at no charge.
