What Cleaning Products Do You Use?

Southern Breeze is dedicated to eco-friendly cleaning. We avoid using harsh chemicals like Pledge, Bleach, and CLR. Our team prefers natural products like vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, essential oils, and baking soda for effective and safe cleaning. We prioritize your family's and our staff's well-being while keeping your home clean and green!

Will the Initial Cleaning Take Longer Than the Ones That Follow?

The initial cleaning typically takes longer than subsequent ones because we bring your home up to maintenance level. The duration depends on factors like the number of residents, pets, buildup, and home size. Most clients opt for regular cleanings (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) to maintain their homes efficiently and cost-effectively. Infrequent cleanings will take longer due to increased buildup between visits.

How Long Do Regular Cleanings Take?

The duration of regular cleanings can vary for each home, as it depends on specific needs and lifestyle habits. Southern Breeze will provide a ballpark estimate for regular cleaning when you set up your initial appointment. After the first cleaning, we'll have a better understanding of how long future regular cleanings will take, ensuring consistency in service.

Are Pets at Home Ok?

We welcome pets at home, but their comfort and safety are our priority. If your pet is comfortable with strangers and cleaning noises, it's fine to have them around. To ensure safety, we recommend crating or isolating the pet during the cleaning. If your pet is not comfortable, please keep them separate. Our cleaners are pet-friendly, but if a pet poses a threat, they are trained to leave the home immediately and discuss future cleaning options with you.

Please note: we don't provide pet care services like walking, feeding, or cleaning up after them.

Are You Bonded and Insured?

Southern Breeze is bonded and insured. If proof of insurance is requested, we are happy to provide it.

Do You Change Linens or Do Laundry?

Regardless of linen changes – beds will always be made. If you would like to leave fresh linens on the bed and you request us to change them, we will surely take care of that for you! If you do not have a spare set of linens to use, we can launder them also, just make sure to let us know! Additional laundry can be done as well but you must communicate this with us in advance to ensure that we have accounted for enough time to complete the task.

Do I Need to Be Home for the Cleaning?

You don't need to be home for the cleaning unless you prefer to be. We'll discuss entry arrangements upon booking. For the initial cleaning, many clients prefer to be present to guide our cleaners and point out specific areas. For regular clients, trusting our insured professionals with a spare key or key code for entry is common practice.

How Does Booking Work?

Booking with us is simple! After you submit an estimate request, we'll get back to you within 24 hours with an estimate and clarify any details. Once you decide to book, we'll send you a confirmation email and client guidelines for you to sign and return before your scheduled cleaning. It's an easy process, so you can focus on the more exciting things in life!

How Does Payment Work?

Our method of payment is simple. After the cleaning, we'll send you an invoice via email, and it's due upon receipt. You can pay with a debit/credit card or mobile deposits such as Paypal, Zelle etc after the service. Please ensure that any outstanding payments from prior cleanings are settled to continue receiving services. If there's a history of late payments, we may require payment before the cleaning. Having a debit/credit card on file with our office is preferred, but it will only be charged if your invoice remains unpaid for 7 days after the service.

What If I Want Something Done That’s Not on Your Checklist?

We're happy to accommodate special requests that are within our capabilities. Just let us know, and we'll do our best to include them in your cleaning. Please provide us with 48 hours' notice before your visit to ensure we have the time and equipment required. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we strive to be flexible and accommodating.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

We understand that sometimes you may need to cancel your appointment. To avoid last-minute cancellations, we send reminder emails and text notifications. We do require a 48-hour notice for cancellations, which can be done via email or voicemail with a time stamp for accuracy. If you cancel within 48 hours, there's a 25% charge, and same-day cancellations incur a 50% charge. We'll work with you to reschedule your cleaning at a convenient time. Please remember that cancellations must be made through our office.

What If Something Is Broken or Damaged During the Cleaning?

At Southern Breeze, we value integrity in our cleaners. If anything is broken or damaged during the cleaning process, our staff are trained to photograph it and report it immediately, without fear of reprimand. Accidents can happen, and once damage is reported, we'll promptly contact you to discuss a fair resolution. We'll do our best to repair or replace the item, and our residential cleaners are fully insured, allowing for an insurance claim when applicable. If you have irreplaceable items, it's a good idea to store them safely. Please communicate any concerns during booking. Please note that we don't replace or repair items with existing damage or improper installations.

Do Your Housecleaners Accept Tips?

Tipping our housecleaners is never expected but highly appreciated. Many clients choose to tip a little after each cleaning, while some opt for a larger tip at the end of the year. We value and appreciate your feedback, so if you'd like to leave a review on our website or Facebook page, we'd be grateful for that too!

How Often Can You Provide Service?

We're flexible with service frequency. Southern Breeze offers cleaning services on a weekly, biweekly, monthly, or sporadic basis. You can even request services for special events or move in/move out cleaning. We are happy to work on a no-contract basis, allowing you to adjust your service schedule to suit your changing needs or budget.
